MGBio has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU), following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 3, 2025, at Shifa College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Amjad Ali (CEO, MGBio) and Dr. Faiza Umair (HOD of Biosciences, STMU), formalizing a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and future growth.
Representing MGBio at the signing were Prof. Dr. Amjad Ali (CEO, MGBio) and Mr. Muhammad Ammar (Managing Director, MGBio). From STMU, the delegation included Prof. Dr. Tausif A. Rajput (Dean, Biosciences), Dr. Sagheer Ahmed (Director ORIC), and Dr. Faiza Umair (HoD, Department of Biosciences). The two teams engaged in discussions on potential avenues of collaboration, focusing on opportunities to drive impactful initiatives across research, training, and innovation.
This partnership marks a significant milestone for both institutions, paving the way for joint academic development, knowledge exchange, and research collaborations. Together, MGBio and STMU aim to build a sustainable framework that advances science, fosters innovation, and contributes meaningfully to Pakistan’s biotech and healthcare landscape.
