The China National Center for Bioinformation / Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, hosted the 10th Big Data Forum for Life and Health Sciences from October 15–17, 2025. This prestigious international gathering brought together leading scholars, scientists, and innovators to address the rapidly evolving landscape of big data in life and health sciences.
Dr. Amjad Ali was formally invited to participate in this year’s edition, joining internationally renowned biomedical data scientists and thought leaders. His presence contributed to high-level exchanges on emerging methodologies, data-sharing strategies, and the future of integrative biological research. The invitation reflects his active role in advancing bioinformatics and his growing engagement with global scientific communities.
The forum highlighted the transformative era of large-scale biological datasets, including genomics, multi-omics, and health-related information generated across the globe. Discussions centered on the critical need for open access, unified standards, and global data-sharing mechanisms key factors in accelerating the conversion of “big data” into “big knowledge” for improved research, healthcare advancement, and precision medicine.
The forum once again demonstrated its value as an influential platform driving forward data-driven life science research and its real-world applications.
