MGBio proudly participated in two significant events at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), reinforcing its continued commitment to strengthening industry–academia partnerships.
The first was the Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) Meeting, where Dr. Amjad Ali, CEO of MGBio, and Mr. Muhammad Ammar, Managing Director of MGBio, participated as members of the board. The meeting brought together academic leaders and industry experts to discuss curriculum development, emerging technological trends, and strategies to better align academic programs with the evolving needs of the biotechnology and technology sectors.
The second was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between MGBio and IIUI, establishing a collaborative framework to strengthen education, research, innovation, and professional development. Under this partnership, both organizations will work to strengthen industry–academia engagement, create internship and professional training opportunities for students, organize workshops and technical training programs, and promote collaborative research in biotechnology, bioinformatics, and artificial intelligence.
With this collaboration, MGBio and IIUI aim to build a sustainable partnership that bridges academia and industry — equipping students with the practical knowledge and skills needed to excel in the rapidly evolving fields of biotechnology, bioinformatics, and artificial intelligence.
