MGBio concluded 2024 with a strong presence at the NEXT Gen Corporate Summit & Career Expo, held at the Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST), Islamabad, on December 31, 2024. The event served as a vital platform to connect academia with industry, fostering dialogue and opportunities in the fields of genomics, bioinformatics, and biotechnology. The MGBio booth received an enthusiastic response, engaging over 300 students eager to explore the company’s work and future career prospects. More than 40 CVs were collected from promising candidates, demonstrating strong interest in MGBio’s training and internship programs. A notable moment during the expo was the visit by Dr. Muhammad Mansoor, Vice-Chancellor of CUST, who met Muhammad Ammar, Managing Director of MGBIO to learn more about its vision and strategic direction. His support reflected the mutual interest in promoting meaningful academic-industry collaborations. Faculty members from the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Computing also visited the booth. Productive discussions were held regarding future collaborations, including joint research initiatives, workshops, and knowledge exchange programs. Through this engagement, MGBio reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing innovation, empowering young talent, and building sustainable partnerships with academic institutions. The expo set the tone for impactful collaborations in 2025 and beyond.
